And just like that, another year has gone by, which means celebrating 7 years in business for Pexlify. 2022 was a whirlwind of a year. Ireland went into lockdown at the beginning of 2022, but thankfully, everything is slowly returning to normal. We've witnessed the comeback of live events, heard major news and updates from Salesforce, and participated in some incredible charitable work.
Today, we’re sharing some of our best highlights from 2022. It’s great to look back on the year in full and see how far we’ve come. From being acquired by Merkle to growing our team to well over 100 employees, it’s been an incredible year, and we’re excited for what 2023 will bring.
Acquired by Merkle
The most important and biggest news this year is that Pexlify was acquired by the leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer service company, Merkle. With over 4,000 people across 17 countries in EMEA, the addition of Pexlify takes Merkle’s UK and Ireland headcount to over 1,500 people. We are thrilled to be part of the Merkle/Dentsu family!
Events
This year, we got to attend and sponsor some exciting and fun events. Here are a few of our favourites:
World Tour, London.
Of course, we were thrilled to be back at World Tour London this year as a sponsor. World Tour was one of our first events to be attended in person. It was great to be out meeting new people, as well as catching up with old friends who we haven’t seen in a while!

Salesforce Regatta
The Regatta this year was fantastic and the weather on the Solent was perfect. Although Pexlify didn’t win back our winning spot, the team had a great time for two days out on the boats!

TourDeSalesforce
Pexlify was thrilled to take part in and sponsor the TourDeSalesforce cycle this year. 32 people cycled over 100K a day from Salesforce London office to the Salesforce Paris office to raise much-needed money for The National Autistic Society. Everyone made it to Paris in one piece and had a great time!
Charity Walk for Pieta House
This year we organised our own charity walk in aid of our customer, Pieta House, in honour of #SuicidePreventionAwarenessMonth. The Pexlify team walked 48,000 steps in 48 hours to collectively walk the distance from our Dublin to London offices.
At Long Last - Our Delayed Christmas/Summer Party
After 2 years in lockdown, with no Christmas or summer parties, we celebrated the return of in-person gatherings with a huge summer celebration (really our delayed Christmas party). We had an amazing night at the Guinness Storehouse and got our dancing shoes on and danced the night away to a great performance from the band ‘Spring Break’.
CSR
As a member of the team that has implemented our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategy, I can attest to the positive impact it has had on our company culture. Not only has it fostered a sense of community and collaboration among employees, but it has also given us a greater sense of purpose and meaning in our work. By focusing on making a positive impact on society (planting trees using OneTreePlanted & using the OnHand Volunteering App), we are able to align our efforts with our values and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
